Dreams and Visions

I had a vivid night that poured over into the morning.

After my prayer time I noticed that the moon was yellow. It was so big, bright and beautiful. The reflection of it in my window made another moon appear next to it. It made me wonder when a planet could be seen close on Earth again. So I researched it.

After that I reminisced of times when I wanted to travel the world. I planned on traveling to London to attend a music institute. I also thought about when I was supposed to travel with a student ambassador program in my teen years. Traveling was always a goal of mine.

After those recollections I fell asleep. People from my past appeared in my dream. Past students, administrators, staff, and others. Places where I’ve been. My former house, an old school where I used to teach, streets where I’ve walked. So many memories.

I had an epiphany when I woke up. Life continues to live. Places where I’ve been will always be apart of my unique history. I’ll forever be in someone’s memory.

I encourage you to make your mark a good one in life. Refuse to allow circumstances to kill your vision or the goals you’ve set. Create some vivid moments that will forever be cherished memories.

God gave you this life. Live it, breathe it, cherish it, and share it with the greatest potential.

For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.
    -Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
